Our Team

Ruth is the vicar at St John’s, and has been working in church circles for over 30 years. At the heart of everything she does is a deep passion for Jesus, prayer and the Bible, and she is thrilled that God has called her to minister by the sea. Her journey has included many years on staff at her local church in Acton, West London, and serving as a Debt Centre Manager with Christians Against Poverty, as well as teaching English as a foreign language. She also has a well-documented passion for chocolate. She is married to Mark and they have two children - a boy and a girl, twins.
