Our Team

Ruth is the vicar at St John’s. Before she was ordained she taught English as a foreign language, worked for Christians Against Poverty as a Debt Centre Manager and spent many years on staff at her local church in Acton, West London. She has a passion for Jesus, prayer, the bible and chocolate and is thrilled that God has called her to minister by the sea. She is married to Mark and they have two children - a boy and a girl, twins.
