We continue to work to find a community solution for the future running of St John’s Parish Hall. We have offered a 99-year peppercorn lease to the Meads (Eastbourne) Community Centre charity (MECC) and we await their response on whether they will accept this. This is in line with the guidance given to us by the Charity Commission and with the advice from our legal advisors who are specialists in this area.
