The Desert Fathers and Mothers were early Christian pioneers, seeking God in the solitude of the Egyptian wilderness. Leaving behind the distractions of the world, they imitated Christ’s own time in the wilderness, to pursue high standards of discipleship, sacrificing comfort to pursue holiness.

This Lent,  we’re joining with Lectio 365 and 24/7 Prayer so that the whole church can enter 40 days of prayer, simplicity, and spiritual renewal together, based on the Desert Fathers and Mothers.
