The Well at 6pm

  09 August 2026, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:13-14

‘Wells in the Bible often symbolize life, sustenance, and divine blessing. They are places of encounter, revelation, and covenant. The provision of water from a well is frequently associated with God’s faithfulness and care for His people. In a spiritual sense, wells can represent the depth of God’s word and the refreshment it brings to the soul.

In the arid climate of the ancient Near East, wells were crucial for survival. Throughout the Bible, wells serve as more than just physical sources of water; they are rich in spiritual meaning and historical significance. They remind believers of God’s provision, the importance of community, and the deeper spiritual truths found in Christ, the source of living water.’ *

The Well is a space where extended sung worship can be hosted with more openness to the Holy Spirit.

Our prayer for The Well is that it would be a place of encounter with God as well as spiritual refreshment and growth.
