Cleaner/Caretaker – St John’s Church Meads

St John’s is a lively church in Meads, Eastbourne, whose mission is Loving God, Building His Church, Serving Others. Our ‘5G’ Values – Greeting, Gathering, Growing, Giving, Going – underpin everything that we do. We require an effective Cleaner/Caretaker to ensure that our church buildings are kept clean and are properly set up for our various services and activities.

We are looking for someone who is reliable and trustworthy, with good attention to detail and who is able to work on their own initiative. The job is mainly cleaning but with some moving of tables and chairs, so you will need to be physically able to do the tasks required. We are also looking for someone who can work fixed hours across the week but with some flexibility to help with one-off activities.

The role is 13 hours a week. Salary is £8,254 and includes paid holidays
