St John’s Parish Hall, on the corner of Meads Road and Meads Street, is a popular venue for many community events, including art classes, club meetings, AGMs and children’s parties, as well as the church’s weekly Coffee Pot Plus and the monthly Meads Lunch Club.

The Parish Hall consists of several meeting spaces of various sizes, plus a kitchen. The large hall measures 13.6 x 9.52 metres (44 x 31 feet), and the Salwey Room (especially suitable for small meetings) is 6.6 x 4.8 metres (21 x 16 feet). The Hall has step-free access (at the Meads Street entrance) and toilet facilities for disabled users.
